Tres L. Rodmon

Originally from Bamberg, Germany. I was born on a Texas Army base, Fort Hood, while my father was attending military training. I spent my early childhood in Germany until age nine, when my family moved to Miami. For the past eight years, I’ve proudly called Tampa home.

I’m running to be mayor of Tampa because our city deserves leadership that puts people before politics. As a trans man, I understand what it means to fight to be seen, heard, and treated with dignity—but my commitment goes far beyond any one community. I care about the quality of life for every resident, from safer neighborhoods and stronger local businesses to affordable housing and accessible services. I believe in equality, opportunity, and respect for all. It’s time for leadership that listens, unites, and works tirelessly to ensure everyone in our city can thrive.
